What happens when you get caught counterfeiting coupons?

I remember when the news broke in the “coupon world,” many blogs were talking about it…

Coupon fraud is wrong. I promote ethical couponing. Please don’t buy coupons from coupon clipping services, e-bay or Craig’s List, you never know if they are really reliable sources (read article). Please don’t photo copy internet coupons as that is coupon fraud as well.

Please also respect store coupon policies and the guidelines stated on the coupon itself.

Promoting coupon fraud ruins it for the rest of us who coupon correctly because then coupon policies tighten up and become stricter.
